ENCOT Microfinance Limited is a social impact MFI that works to alleviate the plight of the poor by enabling access to affordable financial services. Reaching out to poor rural farmer communities has many challenges that need synergy from different players. GCAMF - Founded in Luxembourg by Credit Agricole SA, a French retail bank, and Grameen Trust, a nonprofit microfinance organization affiliated with Grameen Bank of Bangladesh. Grameen Credit Agricole Microfinance Foundation (GCAMF) provides financial services to microfinance institutions (MFIs) and social business projects in the world. GCAMF has supported ENCOT's on-lending capacity and provided an array of key organizational development solutions in; financial reporting, risk management, MIS, processes re-engineering, corporate governance, and social performance management. www.gca-foundation.org/en/



aBi - The Agricultural Business Initiative (aBi) is a multi-donor entity jointly founded by the Governments of Denmark and Uganda and other Development Partners. The Trust supports agribusiness development in the private sector in Uganda. ENCOT Microfinance Limited has been in partnership with aBi Trust since 2012. Partnership with aBi Trust has been along an array of Capacity Issues ranging; most especially in the area of product development, staff training, branch network expansion (Hoima and Kibaale Branch), and critical on-lending capacity support through provision of a line of credit (Whole sale fund). www.abi.co.ug
